Just recently, Marlou Arizala changed his identity to Xander Ford. He did not only change his name, he even went under the knife to alter his appearance. It was the internet sensation’s dream to look more acceptable to the public – he wanted to prove his bashers that he could be something more. We all admit that Marlou really shocked the netizens with his grand reveal, but we did not know that his mom, Merly Arizala, did not want him to push through with his surgery.

“Kinabahan po ako kasi sinabi kop o sa kanya na wag niyang ituloy kasi baka mamaya magkaroon ng problema sa kanyang pagpapaganda ng kanyang ilong,” she admitted.

Even though his mother told him not to proceed, he still went on which actually ended up with a great result. And on October 1st, he finally revealed his new persona as Xander Ford on the ABS-CBN show, “Rated K.”

It was a breathtaking scene for his parents to see a new person in front of them. When they finally saw Xander Ford, they cried and said:
“Masaya po ako na nakita ko siya ngayon. Kasi nami-miss ko ng apo siya kasi mahigit isang buwan ko siyang hindi nakikita. Nag-alala po ako sa kanya pero salamat po sa Panginoon kasi naging success po ang pag pagawa sa kanyang ilong,” his mother narrated.

On the other hand, his father Aniceto quipped, “Nanibago rin lang ako syempre. Dating kamukha ko, wala na.”
