It has already been a year since actress and host extraordinaire Toni Gonzaga gave birth to her baby boy with husband, Director Paul Soriano, who they named as Severiano Elliott. Now, they threw a grand golf-themed birthday bash for their first child which was attended by their close relatives and friends.

On a recent interview with the ABS-CBN morning talk show entitled “Magandang Buhay,” Toni shared what the party’s theme will be. Aside from that, she also revealed that they named Baby Seve after a renowned golfer, Severiano Ballesteros. Toni narrated:

“Noong bata pa lang si Paul, naririnig niya ‘yun doon sa lolo niya, kay Nestor de Villa. ‘Yun ang favorite golfer ni Nestor de Villa, si Severiano Ballesteros. So na-recall niya ng na-recall. Nagustuhan niya yung pangalang Severiano, kaya naging Severiano yung name.”

The venue of Baby Seve’s first birthday party, held in Maybank Arts, Bonifacio Global City, was decorated like a golf course. The event was also aptly named as “Seve in 1.”

The birthday boy enjoyed his five-layered cake with a miniature golf cart and topped with a huge golf ball. To add more fun, there were also some kiddie rides and a ball pit. There was even a carousel for the kid attendees!

Most guests wore white clothing in accordance with the motif. Well, what’s even more fun is that the recently wedded couple Vicki Belo and Hayden Kho’s adorable daughter was there too!
