One of the sweetest real-life couples in the showbiz industry, Sarah Geronimo and Matteo Guidicelli, was expected to grace the runway at the Star Magic Ball 2017 – but the pop singer did not attend due to a previous engagement.

Despite that, Matteo still walked the red carpet graciously with his dazzling white suit, which was apparently made with environment-friendly materials. It was designed by the prominent Joseph Aloysius. In an interview with PUSH, the actor shared:

“The suit I’m wearing is made of Filipino fabric kumbaga it’s from a tribe in Ilocos if I’m not mistaken and it’s very interesting because it’s an eco suit kumbaga. It’s made by Joseph Aloysius, he’s my buddy and I know it was his advocacy.”

But, when Matteo was asked about the attendance to the prestigious and much-awaited event of the ABS-CBN, the Star Magic Ball, he confirmed that ‘Pop Princess’ Sarah Geronimo, could not make it.

“I am going solo. Wala she has prior commitments and maybe in the future we’ll see,” he revealed, “Maybe next, next, next ball.”

People speculated that the reason behind Sarah’s no show was because the network executives were aware that the celebrity couple called AshMatt may overshadow the Star Magic love teams like KathNiel and LizQuen among others. As we all know, the pop star isn’t a Star Magic talent so there is a likely chance that she was not permitted to attend the ball.
